New iPad only $299

The iPad is the most popular tablet on the market but other company's are close Behind like the kindle fire and the new nook tablets.
The iPad1 was really the first tablet on the market and the iPad 2 just exploded the market in 2011 and that's when company's started to realize this is a good Idea. Company's like Amazon put out the kindle fire a very nice tablet for only $299 dollars and the iPad is $499, the average tablet user will most Likely go for the 299 dollar tablet. Apple rumors say there will be 2 tablets on the market both have the new A6 processor, the only difference in the two tablets will be the screens and price one will have 2048x1536 and this is the 499 module,
The $299 will have a 1024x768. Will this effect you when u buy it?
My thoughts
I would love to own a iPad3 but i wouldn't be able to afford it unless the iPad will have a 299 dollar price point.
